Happy Friday Eve!

I recently searched the internet looking for the perfect wallet to make. I found the pattern on Etsy, bought it, and even spent two hours making it. Then I realize the pattern was not good. I wasted a lot of time. I reached out to the seller who apologized and promised they would take the listing down? Do you think that happened? Hear all about it in this week's video - UGH!

This video has been taking off a bit (for me) on YouTube, and there are so many comments of people who have had similar stories.

Each week I like to share something from the sewing and quilting world that I find inspiring!

This week, I want to show you the pattern for the crossbody bag I made that I wanted to have a wallet go with. I made this over two years ago. This is the Alpen bag by Center Street Quilts. I've made a few of her patterns and have enjoyed them all.

This week I experimented making a stained glass inspired (sort of) applique quilt block. It's not perfect, and I think I'd do some things differently next time.
