A weekly note from Tasha Quilts on what I'm stitching and what is inspiring me!

Happy Friday Eve!

This week I experimented making a stained glass inspired (sort of) applique quilt block. It's not perfect, and I think I'd do some things differently next time. I think I would do the full flower and petal units together on the back and then cut them out instead of the individual pieces. I'd also change up the colors a bit.

Sew Inspired

Each week I like to share something that I just absolutely adore and wish I had time to make. This week, I want to show you this adorable FPP shooting star block. I was going to make it last week, but ended up going with a traditionally pieced star instead. I did buy this pattern and it looks great! I think I will save it for a rainy day!
