🧵 [MM] 15 minutes. That’s it.

Each Monday, I’ll help you keep your quilts moving.
So they finally get finished.

This Week's Struggle

Lately, the biggest thing getting in the way of my sewing hasn't been motivation. It's Time.

Work has been busy. The kids need three meals a day - every day (ugh, lol)! And when I do have a little time, I end up doom scrolling instead of sewing.

So, it's time to bring back a Tasha classic - 15 minutes of sewing a day.

Join me starting April 1 (or sooner if you're ready) to sew, design, organize, or something for at least 15 minutes a day in your sewing space!

And, if you're inside the Clubhouse, I'll be posting daily so we can share progress and keep each other going (Join here: Quilters Clubhouse Membership - Tasha Quilts)

Keep it Moving

Do you have a pile of unfinished projects you haven't looked in who knows how long? I really think you should take each one out look at it with your eyes (not just try to remember with your brain!) and make a list of all of them. Then pick a momentum quilt and get going!

I do this monthly! Let me know if you decide on an April momentum quilt! I'm pretty sure I have mine decided! Stay tuned next week!

Check out this blog on 10 Simple Ways to Keep Your Quilt Moving (Even When You’re Busy) - Tasha Quilts for more practical thoughts on how to keep your quilts moving.

Inside My Sewing Room

This week’s surprise: a leaky water pipe 😳

My Liberty fabric was sitting right on the edge of the table—and we caught it just in time. No real damage, and my husband fixed it for under $100.

It could have been so much worse.

Definitely a reminder that sometimes the only thing between your fabric and disaster is pure luck…

Momentum Monday Live

And don't forget, I go live each Monday on YouTube at 8:30pm Eastern Time! Today's session will be basting EPP shapes - my finally Momentum Monday with my EPP quilt. April will start a new quilt!

Take care of yourself, you deserve it!

P.S. Clubhouse pricing is increasing in April.

Happy Friday Eve Reader! How are things going? I've had a busy couple weeks. I went to the AQS show in CT and celebrated a birthday. Not to mention all the other real life things that continue to pop up! If you're new here from the Shades of Gray tour - welcome - I'm so happy you're here! I try to...

Happy Friday Eve Reader! You don’t need more time to quilt. I thought I did. For the longest time, I told myself: ā€œIf I just had more time, I’d finish more quilts.ā€ But the truth? It wasn’t time. It was focus. I loved starting projects. But when it came time to actually finish them, I’d bounce to something new. That’s how I ended up with a pile of WIPs. So, I changed one thing: I started focusing on just one ā€œMomentum Quiltā€ each month. Not to finish it. Just to make progress. And that’s...

Happy Friday Eve Reader! This week’s video is all about how I’m organizing my WIPs so they actually keep moving. Last week I asked how old your oldest WIPs were… and apparently, I’m in very good company. Kim has a 41-year-old hand-pieced sampler that only needs binding.Dorothy has a 15-year-old table topper—even though she doesn’t have the table anymore (honestly, I could see that happening to me).Martha started a quilt in 1998 that still needs quilting.Evelin also has a 15-year-old quilt...
