🧵Packing orders & featured bundles

A weekly note from Tasha Quilts

Happy Friday Eve!

I have had the pleasure of packing up 12 orders these past two weeks! It is crazy how it feels like "this is something real" now! I'm also surprised how much I really enjoy packaging up each order! I wrap each package in tissue paper, because you are gifting yourself! I've really enjoyed experimenting in making stickers and fabric swatches to include in the packages. I already have so many more ideas and I can't wait to keep experimenting!

Packing Orders

I filmed a quick peek at how I pack orders if you're curious what arrives in the mail!

If you've been curious what Liberty Tana Lawn feels like in person, these smaller curated bundles are where I'd start.

I currently have two bundles combining Liberty Fabrics Tana Lawn® and Art Gallery Fabrics Pure Solids. I think my favorite one (and it seems to be the favorite of those ordering as well) is the Blossom and Sage. It reminds me so much of summer with the flowers and it pairs so well with the AGF Fresh Sage. Check it out here: Blossom & Sage Bundle – Tasha Quilts

It is a great way to try out Liberty without committing to full-yard cuts.

Weekly Poll

In our last poll I asked what is stopping you from finishing your current project

  • 32% of you said time
  • 41% said motivation
  • 9% are struggling with making a decision
  • 18% said absolutely nothing - your sewjo is strong!

Thursday Thread A weekly note from Tasha Quilts Happy Friday Eve! I haven't gotten much sewing down this week. However, the husband did get to the doctor and got cleared to walk and drive - and hopefully he will be back to work in a few weeks. If you haven't been following along with this saga, he had an accident with this foot and his lawn mower. His big toe did not fare well in this fight! While I haven't been sewing, my friend Fallon over at Sew Be It Quilts is stitching up some fabric she...

Thursday Thread A weekly note from Tasha Quilts Happy Friday Eve! For the most part, we had a busy but uneventful week. No hospital stays or major plumbing issues. We'll take that as a win! I haven't had a bunch of time in my sewing room, but I've started laying out blocks for a special project. At the day job we have a tradition where the first time someone has a baby a bunch of people contribute quilt blocks and we make them into a wall hanging. I'll be assembling the below blocks into a 4...

Thursday Thread A weekly note from Tasha Quilts Happy Friday Eve! Last week I mentioned that things were improving with my husband's recovery. Well, this weekend threw us another curve ball, and he had to have another surgery this past weekend. He's home recovering now and we're taking things one day at a time. Because of everything going on, I wasn't able to get a new YouTube video out this week. The past six weeks have been a good reminder that family always comes first. However, my sewing...
